What is MBSR?

The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, represents the gold standard in mindfulness practices, integrating millennia-old Eastern traditions with scientifically validated Western approaches. Constantly updated to stay at the forefront of healthcare, MBSR is recognized within national health systems, with costs covered by many healthcare providers in Germany. Additionally, the trauma-sensitive aspect, formulated by David Treleaven, offers insights into creating safe spaces and adapting mindfulness practices to prevent re-traumatization. Professor Amit Bernstein's work further enhances this by addressing trauma recovery with culturally sensitive interventions, supported by clinical research.

"This course (MBTSR) offers a productive pathway to help navigate a difficult world. Zhassulan is a skilled guide to understanding how mindfulness can positively impact your daily life, and in learning the practical tools of MSBR. His studies of eastern and western philosophies additionally helps him connect modern mindfulness with humanities oldest questions."

Anna Oldfield

"Jazz is an excellent teacher. He is super attentive, and you feel that he is fully present for the whole session; he is really patient and kind; he is both organized and improvisational - so, the goals and lessons were very organized, but he adjusted to all of the different ideas and emotions that were brought up in the group and brought in new ideas from philosophy and literature, which made the experience very lively and interesting. At the same time, he kept the sessions focused on the goals of mindfulness training. The group had a very friendly and authentic atmosphere, which I think makes people more receptive to learning."
